This Privacy Policy describes how NKS POS (“NKS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites, applications, point-of-sale software, online ordering, and related services (the “Services”).
2. Information we collect
We may collect:
- Account information — name, email address, phone number, business name, role, and login credentials when you or your organization create an account.
- Business & store data — store locations, menus, pricing, employees, devices, and configuration you enter into the Services.
- Transactional data — orders, payments metadata, tips, and reports generated through the Services. Payment card numbers are processed by our payment partners; we do not store full card PAN data on our systems when those partners handle checkout.
- Guest / end-customer data — if your restaurant uses online ordering, loyalty, or similar features, we may process guest contact and order details on your behalf as a service provider.
- Usage & device data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, app version, log data, and approximate location derived from IP.
- Support communications — messages, call recordings/voicemails (where enabled), and attachments you send to our help desk.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services;
- Authenticate users and manage organization access;
- Process orders and generate operational and financial reports;
- Provide customer support and send service-related notices;
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service;
- Communicate about product updates or offers where permitted.
4. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us host, email, message, analyze, or support the Services (for example cloud hosting, email delivery, telephony, and payment processors), under contractual confidentiality obligations;
- Integrations you enable — such as marketplace, loyalty, accounting (including QuickBooks Online when connected), or delivery partners;
- Your organization — admins and other authorized users within your company may access data associated with your stores;
- Legal & safety — when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security;
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
We do not sell personal information for money.
5. Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and your contractual arrangement with us.
6. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Your choices & rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. Restaurant operators generally control guest data they collect; contact your restaurant for guest-specific requests. 8. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. International transfers
We primarily process data in the United States. If you access the Services from elsewhere, you understand information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Services or by email.
